Life Changes: Putting the “New” in DK New Media

Life Changes: Putting the

I am proud to announce that I will be starting as a Relationship Manager with DK New Media on Monday, May 2.

Ok, let’s be real. I’m absolutely, positively, couldn’t-be-more-excited to begin working with Douglas Karr this coming Monday. I am unbelievably thankful for such an amazing opportunity to fall into my lap. As a Relationship Manager, I will be responsible for the following: project and portfolio management, communicating with clients, managing financial budgets, business development, keeping up with industry news and trends, product line development, developing presentations and proposals, and administration of the office. Needless to say, Doug will most certainly keep me busy, and I am ecstatic about it.

During the interview, I was asked what scares me the most about this position. My honest answer? Operating the printer. Let’s just say that printers and I had a bad break up in the 90s.  But in all reality, I am excited for the challenging nature of this position. Without challenges, we can’t improve and learn.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their continued support throughout this life change, and I can’t wait to start my new journey on Monday.

Sincerely,
Jenn

Congratulations! That is a great opportunity for you, and I know you will do an incredible job. I can just tell from what I see online you are meant for a position like this. And while I have only met Doug one time (I think I have only met you once as well) I know he made a good decision here! Now enjoy your weekend, and good luck with those printers!

We’re excited as well, Jenn! And no worries, I have a rough time with the printer as well. We honestly avoid printing as much as possible. :)
